Bridging Mountains and Seas for Cooperation —— The Visit of the Turkish Mayors' Union Business Delegation to China

    In October 2025, the business delegation of the Turkish Mayors' Union went on a business visit to Anhui and Zhejiang provinces in China, focusing on in-depth cooperation in three key areas: scientific and technological innovation, industry, and culture. Eventually, a number of cooperation agreements were signed, laying a solid foundation for practical cooperation between China and Turkey and injecting new impetus into the coordinated development of the Eurasian continent.

    The delegation's first stop was the core area of scientific and technological innovation in Hefei. The multilingual translation and intelligent speech technologies of iFlytek sparked lively discussions, and the two sides reached a preliminary consensus on the localized application of these technologies. The intelligent photovoltaic production line of Sungrow provided practical references for Turkey's energy transition. The earthquake-resistant green steel structures of Fuhuang Group and the industrial robots of Yuyi showcased strong capabilities in intelligent construction. Moreover, the 3D visualization platform for smart cities developed by Hefei University of Technology Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. enabled the delegation to see new approaches to urban governance.

    In the fields of environmental protection and smart home, the portable biochemical analyzers of Deming Electronics and the environmental monitoring sensors of Jinlü Environmental Protection accurately met the grassroots needs of Turkey. The intelligent scenarios such as "one-click cooking" launched by Royalstar Group were highly recognized, and the enterprises' willingness to explore the local market led to the formation of preliminary cooperation intentions. At the subsequent signing ceremony, the two sides finalized a number of cooperation projects in areas including artificial intelligence, green energy, and smart home imports.

    In the fields of new energy and infrastructure construction, the delegation visited JAC Group and Gotion High-Tech. The production process of new energy vehicles, the details of hydrogen fuel cell technology, and the whole-life-cycle management system of power batteries consolidated the foundation for in-depth new energy cooperation between the two sides. The intelligent control over the entire cement production process of Conch Group allowed the delegation to intuitively experience the charm of the upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries.

    During this journey of experiencing Chinese culture, the Bagua (Eight Trigrams) -style architecture of Chengkan Ancient Village in Huangshan, a living heritage of traditional Chinese architectural techniques, attracted in-depth exchanges on ancient architecture protection. The rare collections in Chunxin Private Collection Art Gallery and the experience of wearing ancient Chinese costumes in Hengdian World Studios allowed the delegation to immerse themselves in the splendid Chinese culture. At the dinner held in Regisen Manor in Dongyang, Chinese delicacies were accompanied by traditional Chinese music played on silk and bamboo instruments. The cultural experience deepened the friendship for cooperation.

    This trip, which integrated visits to scientific and technological innovation entities, industrial cooperation, and cultural exchanges, turned a new page for China-Turkey cooperation. A promising future of win-win cooperation in multiple fields is expected.
